Perhaps this wasn't you. Perhaps you are sure that Social Services are a force for good in the Country With thousands of dedicated and highly skilled practitioners doing a difficult and unrewarding job. A job that few of us would undertake.

I have to say at the outset, that this is not my view. Social Workers are nice people, but woefully challenged intellectually. They constantly make life changing decisions for those in their care, without the rudiments of a well argued case. The legal system makes no real demands on them for evidence, other than their own words. The result is that thousands are damned by the opinions of Social Worker; often unsupported by inadequate observational evidence.

So disbelieve all this as the work of a crank, supported by a bunch of abusers who lie to cover their guilt. But, to this you do need to read what we have to say. Only a Social Worker would form an opinion based solely on outer appearances.
