ABDUCTED BY THE STATE

My son was abducted at birth by SOCIAL SERVICES
On the 8th December, 2002 my girlfriend at the time gave birth to my son. I was present at the birth and even helped my son from his mothers womb. This was a magnificent experience. I with the midwife checked my son over of which everything was fine. I cleaned and dressed my son and then placed our little boy with his mother. I believe that has the first person to hold my son, Ii got the bond of which society believes only mothers get. I also believe that my sons initial bonding came from this contact as he would have gained my scent has his initial bonding process.

Within half hour of my son coming into this world the abduction squad (SS) had arrived in the delivery suite. Police officers were also present and we were informed that our son was being taken away and placed into protective custody. This was so distressing but I was so happy for the birth of my son, that I did not cause a scene and they proceeded to taking him away. All this took place within half hour of his birth and then he was gone.

With this my girlfriend wanted to go home as she was clearly distressed like myself but helpless in this situation so against advice of medical staff she discharged herself from hospital within the hour of giving birth to a healthy baby boy.

Analysis

There is a lot missing from this story. No mention of why the child was taken at birth. I understand that the mother was a section 1 offender - offences against children- so in normal circumstance, you can understand Social Services acting like this However, the offence in question was one of grievous bodily harm when the mother was 17 against a girl of 15. Not quite the child abuser you would expect. The child was permanently taken away and no real consideration was given to placing the child with the father, even after splitting up with his girlfriend.
